Integrated Structural and Architectural Metalwork Powers the One Brickell Riverfront and Lofty Towers

The One Brickell Riverfront and Lofty Towers project showcases a highly coordinated architectural and structural metal package that plays a central role in supporting and elevating the dual-tower development. Designed to deliver both strength and visual refinement, the scope spans the full vertical and horizontal footprint of both towers — from garage levels to rooftop mechanical areas.

Structural steel framing reinforces key areas of the towers, including link beams, rooftop mechanical supports, and steel framing for cooling towers and equipment platforms. The installation provides essential structural integrity, while carefully integrated design coordination ensures smooth interface with other trades and systems throughout the build.

Architectural aluminum elements bring a layer of precision and design consistency to the project, with custom handrails, guardrails, and cane railings distributed across ADA ramps, stairwells, terraces, corridors, and amenity levels. Powder-coated finishes and a variety of mounting styles were used to align with the building’s aesthetic goals, supporting both safety and architectural intent.

Mechanical and rooftop levels include large-scale aluminum louver systems, engineered for durability and hurricane resistance. These components support vital airflow requirements while also enhancing the towers’ visual identity with clean, geometric lines and material contrast.

The garage and podium levels feature a range of protective and decorative metalwork, including bollards, corner guards, pipe guards, and wall-mounted rails. These systems provide long-term durability and occupant safety, while reinforcing the structured and modern feel of the development.

Additional miscellaneous metals — such as elevator support framing, sump pit covers, and steel stairs — reflect the depth of integration required to deliver on the project’s ambitious scope. Each component is carefully fabricated, finished, and coordinated to meet stringent architectural and structural demands.

Together, the structural and architectural metalwork at One Brickell Riverfront and Lofty Towers contributes to a cohesive, high-performance environment — merging robust construction with detailed craftsmanship to help shape one of Miami’s most forward-looking developments.
